This brown rice bowl is great way to combine healthy ingredients for lunch or dinner. You can get creative with the ingredients – avocado, broccoli, edamame, snow peas, carrots, chicken or shrimp. Get your little ones involved – let them make their own bowl!


  • 1 Cup Uncooked Brown Jasmine Rice
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame oil
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Cup Frozen Broccoli
  • 2 Carrots – Julienned
  • 1 Cup Cooked Rotisserie Chicken

For the Sauce:

  • 4 Tbsp. Tamari Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • ¼ tsp. Ground Ginger

Cook the rice in a rice cooker with the sesame oil. Place in a bowl (1/4 Cup per serving). Top with the avocado, broccoli, carrots and chicken. Garnish with sauce. Serves 4.
